1. General Information

Parallel Sound Studio, LLC operates as a private music education and performance facility based in Newton, Massachusetts.
Our offerings include private lessons, group programs, rock bands, rehearsals, and recording sessions.
Use of this website and all related content is governed by these Terms.
 

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, creating an account, enrolling in lessons, or otherwise interacting with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
 

3. Studio Services

Parallel Sound Studio provides:

• Private lessons in guitar, drums, piano, voice, violin, woodwinds, brass, and more

• Rock band programs for kids, teens, and adults

• Rehearsal and recording studio rentals

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any program or service at any time.
 

4. Lesson Attendance and Scheduling

• Lessons are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis unless otherwise arranged.

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.

• Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered missed and will be charged in full.

• Group lessons, rock band classes, and rehearsals cannot be individually rescheduled or refunded.
   

5. Payments and Billing

• Tuition and service fees are due at the beginning of each month or session.

• Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, ACH transfer, or other secure payment systems offered through our website.

• Late or outstanding balances may result in suspension of lessons or services until payment is received.

• All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by the studio director.
   

6. Media and Photography Consent

Parallel Sound Studio occasionally photographs or records lessons, rehearsals, and performances for educational and promotional use.
By participating in our programs, you grant permission for your image, likeness, and recorded performances to appear in reasonable promotional materials, including social media and the studio website.

If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing at info@parallelsoundstudio.com.
 

7. Conduct and Safety

All students, parents, and visitors are expected to:

• Treat instructors, staff, and peers respectfully

• Use instruments, equipment, and facilities responsibly

• Follow all safety and supervision guidelines while on studio premises

The Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate lessons for disruptive or unsafe behavior.
 

8. Website Use

You may browse and use the Parallel Sound Studio website for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes only.
You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission

• Upload or transmit harmful code, spam, or unlawful material

• Interfere with or disrupt the website’s operation

Violation of these terms may result in restricted access or legal action.
 

9. Intellectual Property

All website materials — including text, logos, graphics, photos, videos, lesson materials, and designs — are owned by Parallel Sound Studio unless otherwise credited.
