Next Level
Creative sessions to engage older kids!
Next Level offers some great options for older learners. We can appreciate Zoom fatigue and hope that our offering will allow for maximum creativity while learning new practical skills in acting and performing in a theater production or recording, mixing and producing music. In addition to the weekly class, we offer traditional rotating daily classes such as art, crafting and music that will be scaled up to accommodate older tastes.
Cost: $200 per weekly session
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Duration: 2 Hours
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Rehearsal Location: Online via Zoom
Sessions: July 6 - 10, July 13 - 17, July 20 - 24, July 27 - 31
For the weekly class, we are proud to offer some very cool options:
Sound Mixing 101
If your child has ever been interested in recording or mixing their own song, this is the class for them! No experience is required and all sound files will be provided.
By using their creativity and some practical instruction, students will learn how to layer sound files and make them into a song. After the song is created, they will learn how to apply digital effects to enhance the sound and produce a professional sounding song. At the end of the week, students will have a unique, original song that they composed, mixed and produced!
Remote Recording Session
For kids interested in recording as a group or working with others to create something from scratch we are offering an option to record sound files from home and learn to mix them into a song with others.
Students will use remote recording software to create individual parts, layer them into a track and then each member will be able to create their own custom mix of the song. One song will have unlimited possibilities!
Next Level Theater
Anyone bitten by the acting bug will be sure to love this class! Kids will work together on a play limited only by their imagination in a Zoom environment. Next Level Theater class will be taught by Marie Libbin, an amazing actor, writer, director and veteran of countless musical, dramatic and comedic performances!

Students will be introduced to the world of theater with a variety of fun classes. They will learn theater games, improvisation, warmups, movement, vocal exercises, voice and diction, terminology, acting, and costumes, all while developing a character and rehearsing for a full Zoom production for family and friends at the end of the session.
